04 – Beyond the CV

About

How I think about product work, and what matters beyond the track record.

What drives me

The mix of product craft and enabling leadership: autonomy over control, clear ownership, and teams that solve problems with data and a shared mission. I think strategically, act pragmatically, and stay close to the front line – treating failure as fast learning, not blame.

How I work

  • Short is goodCut small, release early, learn fast. Initiatives in weeks, not quarters.
  • Data over opinionDecisions follow metrics and evidence, not the loudest voice.
  • TransparencyReasoning, trade-offs, and numbers stay visible and documented.
  • People firstDurable, autonomous teams outlast any single roadmap.

Background

  • PsychologyA PhD in social psychology is my foundation – evidence over instinct, and a real curiosity about why people behave the way they do.
  • Food & wineGood food and the right glass to go with it – cooking, eating out, and the stories behind a bottle.
  • Music & concertsLive concerts, records, and playing guitar – a love I've kept up to this day. I once co-ran an album and concert review site.
  • Travel & outdoorsExploring cities and the outdoors – longer workations and spontaneous trips alike, coastlines and trails included.
